eLiquiChek™
The Revolutionary Liquid Level Measuring System

eLiquiChek ™ is a revolutionary way to measure and monitor liquid levels on-site or from a remote location. It involves a proprietary liquid level measuring device called eGuage™ that can be fitted to your storage tank or facility. These measuring devices are hooked onto an on-site display and monitoring module called eDBX™ to present the readings and communicate to a central location through GSM. With the predominance of GSM communications worldwide at cost-effective prices, this has allowed us to reach new locations and bring down monitoring costs to much lower levels.

eGuage™
eLiquiChek ™ makes use of eGuage™ which is a unique and patented liquid level measuring device with no moving parts that is ideal for underground storage tanks of gas stations, overhead liquid storage tanks, water cisterns and other storage facilities. Once the eGuage™ probe is set, it is practically maintenance free. The sensitivity of the eGuage™ is also enabling finer measurement of liquid levels in small and huge storage facilities.

eDBX™
It provides an on-site monitoring box called eDBX™ which displays the liquid level in centimeters or presents them converted already in liters or the measure of choice. The on-site monitoring box can monitor up to six liquid storage tanks but can be ramped up to take on more eGuage™ connections. The eDBX™ also performs monitoring functions on-site like monitoring open and closed doors, light switches and devices. It can also operate these electrically controlled devices from a remote location using the processor found in the eDBX™.

Quad-C™
The DBX has a built-in GSM module that communicates remotely to enrolled handsets or to a Central Command and Control Center (Quad-C™). The system allows the Quad C™ to monitor various locations instantaneously. The Quad-C™ can be set up in the customer’s premises or hosted at our offices. Trough the Quad-C™, customers can operate light switches and other electrical devices hooked on the DBX remotely. The DBX has provided a cost-effective solution to monitoring remotes locations. It no longer requires the expensive and non-secure internet connection to monitor sites. Through GSM, wider geographical coverage is reached as well. With over 180 countries using the Short Message Service (SMS) feature of GSM, you can practically monitor your site’s liquid level half way around the world. You can turn on the lights in your facility through your mobile phone halfway around the world.
The Quad-C™ is a system we can build for the customer. We can make it a basic monitoring system or an online interactive program. We can tailor-make this according to the requirements of the client.

eLiquiChek™ is the cost-effective way to monitor a retail or tank facility network. It promises to give customers peace of mind at minimal investment and operating costs. With its unique selling proposition, we intend to make eLiquiChek™ available to new and existing customers.

What eLiquiChek™ does

The eLiquiChek™ has primarily been created to service the requirements of the Petroleum industry. There has been a large demand among oil companies for solutions to solve some of their pressing problems: (1) determine the volume of fuels in all stations centrally on a real-time basis (to determine decisions for price changes and product supply planning), (2) determine Retailers who are dumping non-company products into company stations, (3) determine Retailers who are unloading cheaper fuels into more expensive fuels’ storage tanks to cheat customers, (4) assist depot managers in efficiently planning deliveries to Retailers based on their actual volume in their stations and (4) to identify stations that experience stock outs.

Other solutions are not perfect fits

Existing solutions were already available before eLiquiChek™ but were NOT cost-effective or NOT effective at all. Measuring the liquid levels in the stations Underground Tanks (UGTs) were often done using three systems: (1) use of float devices, (2) use of sonar technology, (3) use of laser technology. The use of float devices means we are to employ measuring systems that had moving parts and were thus very hard and expensive to maintain. The latter technologies, sonar and laser measuring devices, proved to be very expensive to implement. There was no effective and cost-effective solution to replace the manual dipstick measurement done by the stations. Most Oil Company Head Offices had no way of getting the volumes in stations on a real-time or close to real-time basis.

What can eLiquiChek™ do for You

A solution has been created called eLiquiChek(TM) that remotely monitors the liquid level of UGTs of stations on a real-time or almost real-time basis using SMS and GPRS mobile phone technology. The patented UGT sensor utilized has no moving parts and is far cheaper than its sonar and laser alternatives. Late last year, the patent has just been approved and testing has been completed.

1. Dealers can now monitor the fuel levels of their Underground Storage Tanks (UGTs) with a display device installed in their sales office. No more dipsticks.

2. Dealers can now be assured of the levels accuracy since the
measuring device has sensitivity of +/- 1 cm. We can provide a more accurate and reliable measure of the fuel levels in the UGTs.

3. Dealers can log on to a secure web site where they can remotely
monitor the levels of their UGTs, historical data of deliveries to the station and sales by the station.

4. Dealers can be notified through SMS in unique, pre-determined
instances: liquid level reaches a certain limit, liquid level suddenly increases or decreases (due to loading or tank transfer), instances of mis-fill and un-scheduled deliveries.

5. Dealers can also know the real-time level of their UGTs anywhere
around the world (applies to the over 180 GSM countries) by sending an SMS message to a number.

6. Oil Company Head Quarters can log on to a secure website to view the
fuel levels of stations. The reports can be divided into categories: by product, by station, by stations, by district, by districts, national, by area, by areas and by incidents. Data can be managed according to the level of the employee.

7. If sales data can be provided to us through a dump file from their on-line accounting system, Oil Company Head Quarters can be notified if there are instances of: (1) deliveries to the station made without any order form the oil company, (2) filling the wrong UGT with product ordered, and (3) stock outs with no orders in-transit.

8. Pricing managers will be equipped with a tool to effectively manage pricing on a per area basis and a nationwide or area-specific picture of inventory to enable them to make more informed decisions on price changes and product planning.

Where is eLiquiChek™ Going

There are other features and functionalities that can be created through the detailed data we collect form stations. To date, we are starting to market the product in the Philippines but we are going to move into Southeast Asia, the USA and the Middle East through third party distributors within the year.
